Our Agency originally had us locked into being on Casting Network list...in Chicago area...then it switched to LA...then switched to NY...we're/ child only available for print/film in the Midwest right now...so many 'lists' to stay on as pay -per - month subscriptions...We've honestly only gotten 1 job...non-pay student film from this particular site...in the last 4 years...Most Casting Network come through as urgent, next morning, be in New York for "go-see"...cattle call auditions...great for only New York talent...We've had greater success developing relationships with Regional Casting Services that are for Extras...some of the work as an 'Extra' continues into larger and larger roles...speaking roles ...and supporting cast member...At this point ...He's been listed on the Credits a number of times...There are no unimportant people in acting...However, there are some money $ hungry people in Administration...be cautious...be patient...be authentic !

Reason of review: Not as described.

Monetary Loss: $400.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

How do I know after spending time and money sending a video for an audition that it ever reaches or is reviewed by the production company? There should be some type of verification from Casting Networks that the video was rejected so as to know my video's are not going into the limbo file!

Honestly, you may NEVER KNOW. We've even submitted photos, videos etc.

by sending it via Postal Service ( at our expense) that the submission had to be signed upon receipt.Basically, anyone walking through the office signs for it, no matter to whom it's addressed. You really have to live within proximity ( day travel ) of the type of 'jobs' you are interested in working on.As you build relationships, with your agent or regional contacts you've established you'll become more successful at being referred out for more specific jobs; matched to your talents and interests.Never take just 'any job'.Most of these network sites make their money from keeping paid members /'subscribers' on a list. They often have deals to purchase new photos / videos, take trainings from so and so, or upgrade to an elite status.Only, work with people who are respectful, responsive and considerate of your time and talent...never stay in a bad professional relationship.Love what you do and keep moving forward.

Don't stress ! It's a process.Wishing you creative success.
